I found this Vintage Square Frame and Yes I had to have it!
It has that aged Patina on it & the inter part is that color of Vintage Red fabric I love !
Then I took this other Vintage Oval Metal Frame & hung it inside the Vintage Wood Frame.
I love that look!
Next I hung this wall pocket & added the Ivy & Old Hand Crochet Dollie.
Tucked in at the top I put another smaller Vintage Oval Metal Frame.
Added some Bling Ruby Red Jewel Earring & Voila !
Then I hung them one above the other in my Dining Room.
Here is another Treasure that I Adore !
I can remember going to the Old Country Store where I grew up & we would see this used alot back in those days.
When we bought Cheese or Meat which they sold buy the pound.
They would slice it & wrap it up in butcher paper.
Mark the price on it & away we would go !!!
I miss some of the things of the past but I also enjoy the things of today.
I'm A Happy Gal & I Love this Life that God has Blessed me with !

ReplyDeleteA girl after my own heart. I love old frames, too. I hoarded them for years. People would come into the shop and ask for frames. I knew what a stash I had, but couldn't let go. Not that I was doing anything with them, mind you. Finally I brought them out, but put such high prices on them nobody buys them. LOL
The little wall pocket is a cute idea. I might have to steal... er... borrow it in some form or another. And I do love meat wrapped in butcher paper.
