~~^~~ My Road Kill Chair ~~^~~

I Finished My Road Kill Chair Today!!!

I found this Chair left beside a Street for the trash-man to pick up
 in a little town in
 Arkansas
while I was looking for TREASURES on Bargains Galore on 64!

!!!! ROAD KILL !!!!
It had a front leg busted off & one of the leg Spindles is missing.
but being me I had to bring it back to life!

so I went to Wally World (aka) Walmart
 &
bought the longest wood screws they had !
Then
My Sweet Hubby
got out the drill & screw driver & went to work on it!

I took some Burlap & stenciled the Black Crow & Star on it for a new seat cover.

We added a board to the front to give it more strength.

Spray painted it Black
&
then I sanded it so the wood to show though.

looking some better already

I cut 5 strips of Burlap
 &
tied them along the front to help hide the added piece of wood board that we placed with wood screws to help give it some strength.

Then I started adding all the "FUN" stuff

I added the Metal Scarecrow with the Black Crow perched on the Hat.
&
Then a cute little Crow Pillow

It's coming back to new life!

This side of the chair was missing the wood spindle
 so ...
I used a twig vine & a fall leaf garland strand to help camouflage that.

This side looked good so I just sanded it some & left it as-is.

Then I added my Fall Spray of Flowers
 &
Then I tied it to the chair with a
Burlap & Raffia Bow.

Looks Good with my Fake Green Pumpkin.

All Done & ready To Sell
Just need to Tag it!!!!
