Oh ... I'm suppose to be posting about my Grand Daughters Smoothie Recipe.

Isn't She Beautiful!

Can you tell I'm a Proud Grandma ?

My Grand daughter " RICKIE " gets all the credit for this Yummy Treat!

                  

I had her Poise against Her wishes.

:-)

While visiting me for a week She & I had to go grocery shopping.

So as you know You just got to have Ice Cream & Favor Aid Tubes for the freezer along with various other snack foods & of course Fruit. 

Peaches, Watermelon, Plums, Strawberries, Grapes, Cantaloupe, Etc.

Rickie Loves Smoothies

She created her own recipe for a tasty Smoothie

It is Simple, Quick & Easy

 &

 You along with your kids will love it !     

First you start out with Vanilla Ice Cream.

 Our Favorite Brand is Blue Bell ~ Homemade Vanilla

Put several Scoops of the Vanilla Ice Cream in your glass.

Then decide which flavor you want your smoothie to be.

Get out of the freezer 3 to 4 tubes of Flavor Aid / Popsicles

 &

then let them thaw slightly.

Add the Slushy Flavor Aid to the Glass of  Vanilla Ice Cream

Keep Repeating Layers 

Ice Cream & Flavor Aid

Stir it up real good so there are no frozen lumps of flavor aid. 

Test Taste

Yes, Yes, Yes

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, 

Then just add a Straw & a Spoon .

It Taste GREAT!!!! 

The hardest problem now is to decide what flavor you want next!

 School Shopping

The Week has Come & Gone

She Leaves Me Tomorrow & is Going to Silver Dollar City with Her Mom & Friends.

 &

Then Her Brother " Cole " Comes To Stay With Granny For A Week.

Which means more School Shopping & Swimming!

Where has The Time Gone?

School Starts The Middle of August ! 

I am from the old school & I think that is way to soon.

When I was a Kid we had 3 months of Summer Vacation

 &

 I loved every minute of it!
