A Small Town ~ Kingston, Arkansas

This Small Town had it all !
It has a Pavilion in the middle of the Town Square.
Library, Bank, Church, Community Building, & Etc.
It was kind of a Little Mayberry.
LOL!

Have you ever just wanted to go down a road that you have driven by for years on your way to some other place?
While on my way back home I decided to do just that !
There it was the sign  ~ 7 miles to Kingston.
So I took a Right Turn & the drive was Beautiful.
There was Hills, Valleys, Streams, & Fields.
Then there it was Kingston, Arkansas.

The Bargain Lady
This is also a Flea Market
They carry several things for Old Kerosene Lamps
Glass Chimneys in all sizes.

One or maybe I need Two ?

They had just the right size that I had been looking for to go on my Little Toy Lamps.

Grandpa's Flea Market
If you want to know anything about Kingston History ...
I would say this is where you would need to go !

This place just Opened up this season.
It's a step back in time
The General Store ... I didn't see the name of the store so that is what I will call it.
They had a wood stove in the middle of the store.
It was a little on the chilly side this morning so they had a mild fire build & I must say it felt good!

As I was approaching Kingston I had to stop & take this picture.
The Old Red Barn

The sign on the side of the barn.
Faded & Weather Worn

Sam's Country Store

When I left Missouri  on 4/28 the gas was $ 3.65 gallon.
Coming home I stopped in Kingston to buy gas.
It was $3.96 gallon ... I only bought 5 gallons there until I could make it to the State Line where I knew it would be cheaper.
Not by much though ... It had gone up from $3.65 to $3.75 in just 3 days.
I Filled R Up because at this Rate it will be $3.96 here in just 3 days!
CRAZY!!!
