 A Diamond in the rough! 

This was a well used coffee pot in its day.

Looks like it might have made the trip out West by Wagon Train & made many a Pot of Coffee on the Campfire!

After getting out the Oven Cleaner & using the Ole Elbow Grease I got it looking some better.

The dark color that is still there is deep in the granite & I couldn't get it out.

It looks much better to me & I don't mind the primitive look. I am now on the hunt for a new/old knob & then this project will be complete!
