~!~ The Hens Nest ~!~

I love the farm where you can have hens & fresh eggs.

We live in a Subdivision & no farm animals are allowed.

So when we moved here in 1996 from our home in the country 

 I had to hang my nest on my privacy fence & put fake hens, chicks & eggs in them.

They lay all 4 seasons & I don't have to go out in the cold to feed the chickens & gather the eggs!

I told my husband when we moved here that the neighbors

 would think the Beverly Hillbillies were moving in! 

The last load that we moved in was all my old primitives.

I put them in my yard, flowerbeds, the deck & on my fence.

So far no one has complained.

 In fact most of them that I've heard from like it!
