!!! Damaged Goods !!!

I found this Old Vintage Ironstone Wash Basin Bowl at a Flea Market last summer.
The Pitcher was missing & the Bowl was in real bad shape but it was only $1.00 so I grabbed it!

Someone had glued the pieces back with a good epoxy & it doesn't leak so I thought ....
Heck yes  ~  I can set a plant in it or something Right?

I also found this dish towel with the little birds all decked out in my favorite color ~ Pink!

So I draped it across the cracked place to cover it up & then started adding garden tools & the birds nest.

In the summertime I have it setting outside on a little table.
Placed with other plants & garden decor on my backyard patio.
I am so ready for Spring!
I love being outdoors & doing things in the yard!

??? Dinner ???

One of OUR all time favorites around this house is ... Sausage & Potato Casserole !
It is Simple, Easy & Delicious!
The Man of the house will LOVE it too!
I would make this when all our kids were still at home & now they make it for their families too!

Most everyone will have on hand the ingredients for this recipe.

Peel, Wash, & Slice

Brown the Sausage

Drain off excess grease

Start layering with the sausage first it helps to grease the dish.

Mix the soup, milk, salt & pepper

I put a layer of cheese in between the second layer.
I also dice the onion up & layer on top of the potatoes instead of adding it to the soup & milk mixture.

Pour the soup & milk mixture over the top layer.
Then cover with alum foil & bake.

Remember to save some cheese to put on the top at the last 5 minutes of baking time.

Yummy!!!

Served with Corn on the Cob, Slaw, &
Biscuits.
You cant beat it!
:)

It is great the next day too!

Sausage & Potato Casserole

1 lb. pork sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup.
1 soup can full.
½ cup chopped onion
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
4 cups raw sliced potatoes  ~ use about 6 med. size.
1/2 to 1cup grated cheddar cheese.

Brown & drain sausage.
Mix: soup, milk, & salt & pepper.
In large baking dish ( 9 X 13 ) layer sausage, potatoes, onion, & soup mixture.
Repeat layers again ending with the sausage.

Bake covered  @ 350*   1 to 1 ½ hrs,
Sprinkle cheese on top & melt in oven for a few minutes.

Seems that I have no wall space left to hang all the fun stuff that I want too.
So I drug in an Old Shabby Easel & set it up in my Bedroom.
Now I'm happy ~ until the next Crisis ???

??? My Dilemma ???

I have this Framed Picture titled

 " Morning Melody "

It has some damaged spots on it & I don't know if I should repair them or just leave them alone?

The worse spots are over the piano.

From a distance they aren't that noticeable.

The water spots  ... They don't bother me at all !
 : )

I don't know if I should just leave it the way it is now & hang it anyway or fix the boo boos.
So I thought I would get every-one's input on it.

I have 2 other pictures with the same theme.
I hang this one in ~ my Red bedroom .
I don't know the title of it so if anyone out there does please let me know.

So for now I'll call it ...

" The Soloist "

This one is Titled

" The Rehearsal "

This one is hanging on my stairwell wall.

Please leave me your comments ... I would love to hear what your opinion is on this matter?

Thanks,Glenda
